01. We Meet
04. Storyboards
I have to be honest - I need to meet with you guys. At the core of my art, I need to have a deep understanding of you guys, what brought you together, and what makes you excited.
I guess I could send you a survey with loads of questions for you to fill out to figure out a large portion of these details, but that's honestly far too impersonal for me.
Instead, I want to meet you two. Whether it's at a coffee shop that we meet, a concert, dinner, or at a theme park, I want to spend some time with both of you BEFORE the wedding to get to know who you are, what gets you excited, and what message we are trying to convey with your video.
02. Your Story Keywords
After we meet, I'll come back with three keywords that we will develop your wedding film around. These keywords will represent what inspires us about you two, how you are different, and how we would like your film to feel.
Of course, this is completely collaborative, and your input on the keywords we choose is just as valuable as ours.
03. Creative Development
This is where a ton of the magic happens. We take those three keywords and begin fashioning a story out of them that is bigger than just your wedding day.
This is so important, because as we storyboard, your wedding film begins to flesh out in our minds, which as a storyteller, is beyond exciting and important as the big day approaches.
It is incredibly important to me that you love and have an understanding of the story we are building together.
We will present you with the storyboard and walk you through your film as we would like to create it for you.
At this point, we are pretty sure your excitement level will be as high as ours - I mean, we've crafted it based off of who you are and what makes you tick - it should make you excited!
This is such an awesome experience, sharing your storyboards with you, and one of our favorite parts of the process.
05. We Make it Happen
Weddings are stressful enough without you having to worry about any logistics or details regarding our interaction.
We'll manage everything from start to finish, ensuring that all you need to do is show up and be yourself.
However, it's important to remember that we're there to tell a deeper story, so our focus isn't on covering all the wedding day details. However, if that's something important to you or your family, we do offer an affordable doc coverage option where an extra filmmaker focuses on the details so we can remain focused on your story.
